Life Ministries was birthed in the hearts of our pastors, 
Phillip and Shirley Stiltner in 1996 as they sat in a service of their home church in Mobile, Alabama one Sunday as the Word of the Lord came forth from Isaiah 54:2,3: 
"Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtain of thy habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes; for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left"
...at that moment, they both knew God was speaking to them, 
to take the very Word that had been placed in their hearts for 10 years, to their "habitation" which was Gautier, Mississippi... 
and after going to their pastor and sharing what God had laid on their heart
...Life Ministries, an inter-denominational church, was established in April, 1996 and, on June 9th, held its first church service in a small store front building...and the rest...
